Homepage2009 East Coast Champ Nathanial Sparks If you are serious about racing at the top level like Jason Saini (2007 mx5-cup champ) or Jeff Altenburg (2007 World Challenge Champ ) here's your opportunity! The Teen Mazda Series is created for young drivers between the ages of 13 and 22 in which they race at the same level as adults with the same equipment. As a bonus the Champion is awarded a chance to participate in the Mazda Driver Shootout. 2009 West Coast Champ Ryan Ellis 2010 TEEN MAZDA CHALLENGE SERIESNathaniel Sparks and Tyler Vance continue to pick up wins in the 2010 season. Both Tyler and Nathaniel also continue to run at the front of the overall Spec Miata pack vying for pole positions and overall wins against the established (read older) drivers! Nathaniel Sparks won the East Coast TMC rounds 1 and 2 at Road America Raceway and followed this up with 2 more wins this past weekend in rounds 3 & 4 at Virginia International Raceway. John Janszen Jr. and Michael Lliteras who is just 13 years old along with 2009 West Coast Champ Ryan Ellis provided and new comer Chip Howell kept things interesting for Nathaniel at VIR. Chip Howell runs at a bit of a disadvantage as he is running in the less horspower 'Sealed' or 'Stock' Spec Miata class, but did take home a 3rd and a 4th in TMC for his first showing in TMC. Michael Lliteras continues to impress finishing 2nd and 3rd in TMC at VIR.
