If you are serious about racing and are looking for a series that will assist you in advancing up the 'motorsports Driver ladder' to more professional and faster race cars then look no further. The TMC is created for young drivers between the ages of 13 and 22 as a series where they race on the same level as experienced adult drivers with the same equipment. As a bonus the Champion is awarded a chance to participate in the year-end Mazda Driver Shootout.

The TEEN MAZDA CHALLENGE race program was created to allow young Race Car Drivers between the ages of 13 and 22 to compete in nationally sanctioned road race events. The Teen Mazda Challenge Series concept as envisioned by Ron Cortez is to add a step in Mazda's ladder system by which a young woman or man can advance from Go Karts and/or Motocross through a highly competitive "spec" series, Mazda's renown Spec Miata series. "Having been in on the ground floor of the Mazda Spec Miata series I can attest to the quality of the program in developing driving talent and race craft. This is an amazing program for young drivers to acquire the race skills on and off of the track required to advance in the professional motor sports arena. We are extremely grateful for the continued generosity and support of Mazda Motors of America, NASA and TOYO Tires. In all the world this is an extremely unique program."

November, 2011 Sonoma, CA.ELLIOTT SKEER became the first Teen Mazda Challenge Champion to WIN the MAZDA DRIVER SHOOTOUT TITLEfor 2011. Winning this much cherished contest required: Written proposals, Video interview, Live interviews,Data knowledge and feedback, interaction with the crew and finally out driving everyone during the test. The award?$75,000.00 for Elliott to continue his rise in the Playboy Mazda MX5 Challenge Cup Series in 2012.Nathanial Sparks (East) and Elliott Skeer (West) crowned 2011 Teen Mazda Challenge Series Champions! Nathanial won BOTH the TMC-East and the NASA National Spec Miata titles this season. A Perfect year for Nate.Zack Skolnick, TMC-East competitor, took time out to WIN the 2011 600 RACING / LEGENDS NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP. Zack beat all competitors in 2 high pressure days at the famous Infineon Raceway road course in Sonoma, CA. TEEN MAZDA CHALLENGE DRIVERS IMPRESS at the NASA CHAMPIONSHIPS held at Mid Ohio Raceway!Teen Mazda Competitor NATHANIAL SPARKS is crowned the 2011 NASA SPEC MIATA CHAMPION at Mid Ohio! Starting 3rd, Nathanial out drove Las Vegas veteran Sammy Valafar and Wellsburg, VA's Gregory Stasiowski in a hard fought back and forth race taking the lead for the final time on Lap 14th of the 16 lap event.Canfield Ohio Teen Mazda Competitor Justin Hille finished an amazing 7th after a stellar drive all the way up from his 32nd starting position! Justin moved from 32nd to 26th on the 1st lap! Then on his steady drive moved to 17th on lap 6, 13th by lap 10 and on lap 15 Justin moved into 8th. Justin's bad starting position a result of a techical violation in an earlier heat race.West Coast driver Charlie Hayes fought through a frustating weekend and moved quickly up the order after starting 28th to find himself in 5th by lap 6. However by lap 8 Charlie saw his day finished
